Fauna Weather
As co-founder of app studio Wild Ventures, I released weather app Fauna Weather in 2022.
Fauna Weather is an iOS weather app designed to bring the natural world closer to users by blending real-time weather data with beautiful wildlife-inspired visuals. Each forecast is paired with illustrations of animals and ecosystems that reflect the current conditions, creating a unique and engaging way to check the weather.
The app offers features like hourly and daily forecasts, real-feel temperature, and precipitation alerts, all displayed in a clean, easy-to-navigate interface. With its blend of functionality and artistry, Fauna Weather not only informs but also inspires a deeper connection to nature, making it a perfect companion for outdoor enthusiasts, wildlife lovers, and anyone looking for a weather app with a creative twist.
We wanted to create an app that’s not just functional but also beautiful to look at. The wildlife portraits change with the weather and temperature—on cold days, you’ll see penguins or polar bears, while hot sunny weather might bring a zebra to your screen. At night, owls and moths take over, making checking the forecast a little more fun and engaging.
